Ron Kelley’s Story
Rolf Structural Integration Practitioner Since 2001
Graduate of the Guild of Structural Integration, Boulder, CO
I have always been a passionate athlete and have never shied away from pushing myself to my physical limits. As a young man, I trained and competed in freestyle skiing in Breckenridge, CO. After I realized that I would never be a professional skier, I taught rock climbing and mountaineering in the back country of Colorado. Both of these skills required great body awareness, and I gained a new appreciation for how the body moved.
Two Years of Injuries
I also realized how debilitating injuries could be! For two years, I suffered a cycle of injury after injury that cost thousands of dollars in lost wages and medical expenses. It also tore at my soul. When you have the heart of an athlete, the last thing you want to do is sit on the sidelines!
A Road to Wellness
Fortunately, I met a Rolf Structural Integration Practitioner and signed up for a Basic Series. Each session aligned my body a little bit more, and my injuries finally started to heal. It happened so gradually, it was hard for me to appreciate the full benefit until the end of the ten session series when I was able to go back to my active lifestyle. My body felt like a brand new machine! Over a decade later, I still feel great. When I saw what Rolf Structural Integration could do, I knew that I had to learn it and give the gift of rehabilitation to others.
Spreading the Healing
Today, I am a certified practitioner of Rolf Structural Integration and have been working with clients since 2001. My style closely mirrors the original teachings of Ida Rolf, the founder of Rolf Structural Integration. My clients are children, teens, adults, and seniors from all walks of life. I love working with each client to heal their injuries and give them a new lease on life.
